This was the first CD I ever purchased and did I ever pick a good one. Wasn’t a huge Clapton fan (still really not), but after hearing a couple tracks played on the radio and knowing his reputation, I realized this was the right album for me. I wasn’t wrong.
Sometimes in life you have touchstones that you keep coming back to and this album definitely falls into that category. Its not that I think it is especially ground-breaking musically nor did it come at a time of my life that was especially emotionally impactful, but it just holds a special place for no real reason other than its a great album.
(Note, this is my first 31 day challenge. I’m obviously a day late in starting, so going to try and post two today!)
