Wait, who?

I’ve stuck pretty close to main-stream musicians so far, but I’m pretty sure this one will lose most of you and that makes me sad. I still remember hearing her for the first time, sitting in the parking lot of an office building prior to heading in to a meeting. The NPR story on her fascinated me, not only with her music but with her background.

This isn’t an album that I listen to often, but for a while, it was on constant rotation. Her second album was one of the few sophomore outings that is the equal of the freshman release.

I find myself with not a lot else to say on this one other than you should check her music out. She’s someone you just don’t want to miss.
